Do you have to sit quietly in your row at a concert, are you not allowed to clap between songs or even leave the hall? These rules do not apply to a Relaxed Performance: here, the needs of the audience and a relaxed atmosphere take centre stage.

Violist Caroline Spengler and cellist Mona Ernst use melodies from Johann Sebastian Bach and other eras to confront their own anxiety instead of fearing it. The Duo Arima does not sit in front of the audience, but right in the middle of it. And the audience also experiences the sound and the accompanying video projections from very different perspectives. The realisation: everyone is afraid. But facing it together helps us to get to know it. And ultimately to realise it: You are not alone with your fear.

An extraordinary concert that literally needs to be experienced.

It's all about the Bach
