100 years of the Bachfest Munich! The festival builds on the city's great Bach tradition, which established itself as an internationally recognized Bach metropolis thanks in particular to the work of Karl Richter. A diverse program, created by numerous cultural workers throughout Bavaria, contributes to the experience of Johann Sebastian Bach and contemporary music with his work in a variety of formats.
