Bach chorales

A sing-along concert with three cantatas
Soloists and the Passion Church Choir perform Bach works with orchestra and invite the audience to sing along in unison.

Concert
Evang.-Luth. Passionskirche Munich

At the moderated concert, the audience is invited to sing along in unison to selected choral melodies from three Bach cantatas. The programme includes: "Eine feste Burg ist unser Gott" (BWV 80), "Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben" (BWV 147) and "Wachet auf, ruf uns die Stimme" (BWV 140). The concert ends with a complete performance of the cantata "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" by the Passion Church Choir and the audience.

The concert will be performed by Maria Kostraki – Soprano, Anna Ziegelmeir – Alt, Christoph Birgmeier – Tenor und Heinrich Lüneburg – Bass, the Passion Church Choir, the Passion Church Orchestra and, of course, the audience. Choirmaster Brian Hamilton will present the concert in an entertaining manner.
