The Greifenberger Barockorchester, Bavaria’s first amateur baroque orchestra, presents an exquisite program featuring popular works by Bach in artful arrangements.
What makes this concert unique is that the orchestra performs on historical instruments, allowing listeners to experience the rich tonal colors Bach himself would have known. Like Bach, who always tailored his music to the musicians at his disposal, the Greifenberger Barockorchester is developing a practice of arranging his music to suit its own ensemble. This approach brings the pieces to life, creating a beautiful sound that offers both musicians and audience a memorable concert experience.
For those interested in the Greifenberger Barockorchester's own arrangements, sheet music will be available for purchase at the concert.
