Bach Noises

Experimental music-making with self-made percussion instruments
Instruments are created from everyday materials to make music together.

Workshop, Exhibition
Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung
SocialArt München

In collaboration with two artists, creative instruments are made from everyday materials and then used to produce the sounds of a stream – from the source to the sea – together: a live stream concert!

Materials are available. You are welcome to bring your own tools, materials and ideas.

The workshop is part of the "pARTitur" exhibition, which brings together the work of six artists from the Socialart Munich group. Inspired by the concept of the score, which in music describes the arrangement and interplay of voices, the artists explore the multi-layered facets of life. The works emphasise how the individual elements can harmonise or contrast with each other to form a larger whole. Each artist contributes her voice in the form of her own techniques and styles, which together create the score: Painting, photography, woodcut, ceramics through to installation and upcyling.

SocialArt München

The SocialArt München group has existed for 30 years. The artists meet regularly to exchange ideas about art and culture and to prepare exhibitions. Their work is about perception, being connected with people and dealing with nature and the environment. Their forms of expression are diverse: painting, woodcut, printing techniques, photography, sculpture, upcycling.
