Magic of music by renowned and unknown masters

The StreichHolzMusiker ensemble invites friends of music to a magical concert evening in the impressive St. Martin Church in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Bach's Brandenburg Concertos No. 2 and No. 4 will be brought to life with powerful interpretations featuring the solo instruments trumpet and flute. In the final part, "L'inverno" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the mandolin shines as the radiant solo instrument. A highlight of the evening is the discovery of a work by a woman, Johanna Senfter, whose fascinating compositions often remain in the shadow of her male colleagues.

Jonas Stein (trumpet), Corinna Steinbrecher (flute), Melanie Ebersberger (flute), Patricia Hibler (violin), and Veronika Schleicher (mandolin) will perform with the StreichHolzMusiker as a chamber orchestra.

This event is part of the "Bach's sounds at the foot of the Zugspitze" series.
