The two Bach-loving musicians Carlo Maria Barile from Italy and Jannis Roos from Munich perform a Bach concerto for organ and violin. In addition to the marvellous orchestral works arranged for violin and organ, each musician plays an impressive solo on his instrument, BWV 1004 and BWV 532. The result is a concert in honour of the fantastic, immortal Johann Sebastian Bach and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Munich Bach Festival.
With Carlo Maria Barile, organ and Jannis Roos, violin

Christi-Himmelfahrts-Kirche Freising
The Evangelical Lutheran Christi-Himmelfahrts-Kirche (built in 1952) is located on the southern edge of the historic town centre of Freising near the train station. The interior was renovated in 2014 and the chancel was artistically redesigned. The bright, open and inviting church sets a very special accent among the churches in Freising. The church forms an ensemble with the modern Protestant community centre with parish office, deanery and community rooms.
