The chorale preludes are played in a liturgical context. The congregation will experience organ music as it was in Bach's time in the Leipzig church service.
The second part of Bach's "Organ Mass" in the church service will take place on 30 November 2025 at 11:15 a.m. in Munich's St. Mark's Church.

Evang.-Luth. Christuskirche Munich
The Christuskirche, built in 1900, is one of the oldest Protestant churches in Munich. It is the place of worship for the largest Protestant congregation in Upper Bavaria. Its symbol is an angel with a trumpet, which proclaims its Christian message from the church tower in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg neighbourhood.
The Christuskirche is a diverse and musically active congregation, "at the centre of people's lives".
