The winner of the 2024 Bach Competition and prizewinner of the 2025 German Music Competition will play works by Bach and Reger.

Julian Becker (*2005 in Hanover) is the winner of the XXIV International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition Leipzig 2024 and prizewinner of the German Music Competition 2025. The organist plays works by J. S. Bach (1685-1750) and Max Reger (1873-1916) on the two organs in St Mark's Church.

Johann Sebastian Bach: Prelude in B minor (BWV 544.1) | Trio Sonata in E minor, II Andante (BWV 528) | Fugue in B minor BWV (544.2) | "Vor deinen Thron tret ich hiermit" (BWV 668) | Canonical changes on "Vom Himmel hoch" (BWV 769, printed version).

On the Steinmeyer organ:
