In dialogue with Bach

Discussion on Protestant economic ethics in the light of cantata BWV 163
Philippa Sigl-Glöckner and Wolfgang M. Schmitt, among others, will talk about the text in Bach's cantata "Nur jedem das Seine".

Diskussion, Lecture
Erlöserkirche München-Schwabing

The cantata "Nur jedem das Seine", BWV 163, deals with the topic of debt, both monetary and religious. The question of the distribution of resources is explored sociologically and theologically in the aesthetic field of the cantata and discussed economically and politically in the subsequent panel discussion.

Before the exchange of ideas, the Erlöserkirche invites participants already at 11.00 a.m., after the cantata service, to join the musicians in conversation over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

With Philippa Sigl-Glöckner, Wolfgang M. Schmitt, Christan Seidler and others
