Concert
LUDWIG BECK

Tetra Brass, the young brass quartet whose members graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, mesmerize their audiences with refined sound cohesion, powerful performing and innovative repertoire from Late Romantics to works written for the ensemble. Gregor Hübner, professor at HMTM, violinist-composer internationally hailed for his visionary genre-binding music making, won the Grand Prize of the New World Composers Competition of the New York Philharmonic in 2017. Important works of his such as the String Quartet No. 7 "Rage" were recorded by his renowned New York based Sirius Quartet.

Tetra Brass and Gregor Hübner venture to bridge tradition and innovation in congenial cooperation and create a very own symbiosis of musical flexibility and sound variety made of idioms of classical, jazz and improvised music.

Aljoscha Zierow, Luca Chiché (trumpet), Christian Traute, Jakob Grimm (trombone) & Gregor Hübner (violin & composition)
