St Sylvester in Munich's Schwabing district is the former village church of Schwabing and is one of the oldest churches in the city today. The professors of the Jesuit School of Philosophy regularly celebrate Sunday mass here under the title "Thinking and Praying". Church musician Andreas Behrendt is responsible for the rich musical programme.
