With this spectacular organ concert, the Bergson combines immortalised works by Bach with the changeable acoustics of Europe's smartest concert hall. Hansjörg Albrecht is a guest conductor and organist all over the world. In the Bergson, he takes you to different worlds of sound:
For example, to the Abbey Church of Caen and the symphonic sound of its Cavaillé-Coll organ. Or to St Peter's Church in Freiberg with its "silvery" sounding instrument by Silbermann. Or to Pasadena (USA) to the Skinner organ with special effect stops. How does it work? The new Hauptwerk system of the organ house in Stiftland makes it possible to combine so-called samples from famous organs around the world on an electronic console. The team at Bergson reacts acoustically to this, adjusts the reverberation times to match the original location and distributes stops around the room. A new sound experience – not only for those who love organs and Bach.
With the kind support of the Orgelhaus im Stiftland.
