But who was this man who always looks very stern in the few pictures of him that exist? It is precisely these paintings, which show Bach with a huge curly wig and without a tiny smile, that make him seem somewhat strange today. The children's programme "Do Re Mikro" introduces Johann Sebastian Bach the man.
