„Verleih uns Frieden gnädiglich“

Service for Eternity Sunday with chorales by Johann Sebastian Bach
On the last Sunday of the church year, the beginning and the end meet, Martin Luther and Johann Sebastian Bach.

Church service
Evang.-Luth. Trinitatiskirche Oberschleißheim

Church hymns with German lyrics have been sung in church services since the time of Marin Luther. Although Luther did not feel called to be a poet, he was one of the most prolific hymn writers of the Wittenberg movement. Johann Sebastian Bach gave his hymn texts a timeless musical form.
The Trinitatis Choir under the direction of Ursula Kaupert will perform chorales by Bach and Luther during the service on Eternity Sunday.

Located in Oberschleißheim, between the castle and the Berglwald forest, the Trinitatis church is a gem thanks to its architecture and design, a place of security and meditation. Inspired by its good acoustics and the beautiful Ott organ, it provides a space for the lively musical life of the community. The choir, various ensembles and soloists give regular concerts throughout the year.
