Mattia Rosati from the Munich University of Music and Theatre traces the path from the Baroque to the Empfindsamkeit on the Ahrend organ with works by Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

Mattia Rosati
was born in Trento in 1999 and completed his organ studies at the "Claudio Monteverdi" Conservatory in Bolzano under the direction of Adriano Falcioni. He also studied harpsichord and basso continuo. Throughout his career, he has performed as a soloist at numerous festivals, including the Ravenna Organ Festival, the Candotti Festival in Udine, Orvieto Cathedral, the Laurentian Festival in Perugia, the Arzachena Organ Festival and others.
In 2025, he was selected and invited to take part in the "Young Talents 2025" concert series, where he performed on the Hildebrandt organ in Naumburg. Mattia Rosati deepened his knowledge of organ literature by attending masterclasses with important artists such as Daniel Chorzempa, Ludger Lohmann, Philippe Lefebvre, Ben Van Oosten, Wolfgang Zerer, Johannes Geffert and Maurizio Croci. Over the years, he has received several awards at international organ competitions, including third prize at the VI International Organ Competition "Historic Organs of Friuli" (2021), third prize at the XI International Organ Competition "Rino Benedet" (2022), first prize at the 1st "Dolomites Organ Competition" (2023) and third prize at the XII edition of the "Jan Pieterszoon Organ Competition" (2023). edition of the "Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck International Organ Music Competition" (2024).
He recently completed his master's degree in organ at the University of Music and Theatre Munich in the class of Bernhard Haas and Martin Sander. There he is continuing his studies in church music and new music in order to expand his training and enrich his repertoire.
