To mark the Day of Prayer and Repentance, Cantor Yoko Seidel will set Bach's cantata "Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen" (BWV 12) in relation to the variations by Franz Liszt. After an introduction to the work, the programme will begin with the variations with Anne Horsch on the organ, followed by the cantata itself.

The Evangelical Lutheran parish in the west of Munich offers a wide range of programmes for children, young people and adults. Its catchment area stretches from Pasing-Obermenzing to Lochhausen-Langwied. Concerts are regularly organised on the two Klais organs. The choir of the Himmelfahrtskirche organises cantata services, other ensembles include the Jugendkantorei and the Lochhausener Singkreis.
