". . . dir hat allein dein Orgelschlagen"

As part of the Kunst.Andacht, the works can be heard partly on other instruments, partly as improvisations or in combination with texts.

Concert, Literature & knowledge
St. Paul München
Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, Department Kunstpastoral

As part of the Kunst.Andacht organised by the Kunstpastoral of the Archdiocese of Munich, the musicians Enrico Sartori, Hugo Siegmeth, Jost Hecker and Peter Gerhartz seek their very own approach to the trio sonatas that Bach composed for the organ. The unconventional instrumentation creates completely new perspectives and sound spaces. Bach's polyphony also offers an abundance of inspiration for improvisation, which will be given ample space in this concert. In addition, Rainer Hepler reads texts about Bach and Bach's life, which sometimes make you smile.

Enrico Sartori, clarinet and saxophone
Hugo Siegmeth, saxophone and flute
Jost Hecker, cello
Peter Gerhartz, piano and Fender Rhodes

Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, Department Kunstpastoral

The Department Kunstpastoral, based in St. Paul's in Munich, cultivates and promotes dialogue between the church and contemporary art in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. Kunstpastoral aims to emphasise that the encounter between church and art is a dialogue on an equal footing between autonomous partners, in which both sides can learn from each other, wrestle with each other and be amazed.
