A surrealistic Bach homage for flute, percussion and piano
Compositions on seven of the "Goldberg Variations" for flute, percussion and piano are framed by Bach's originals on the piano.

In dem exquisiten Konzertprogramm „Goldbergs Träume“ für Flöte, Klavier und Percussion findet eine aufregende Auseinandersetzung mit den „Goldberg-Variationen“ des unsterblichen Johann Sebastian Bach statt. Ausgehend von der Anekdote, dass er diesen Variationszyklus als „Einschlaf-Musik“ für die schlaflosen Nächte des russischen Gesandten Graf Hermann Carl von Keyserlingk schrieb, wurden von Enjott Schneider, Dorothea Hofmann und Stefan Blum surreale Nacht- und Traumstimmungen als freie Assoziationen komponiert.

So entstanden zwei selbständige Triptycha, worin sich jeweils drei „Traumbilder“ konkret auf die drei jeweiligen Variationen von J. S. Bach beziehen. Ferner ein fulminanter Schlusspunkt von Stefan Blum über die 30. und letzte Variation von J. S. Bach. Die einrahmenden Bachschen Originale runden dieses nächtliche Geschehen zu einem Ganzen.
