Bach's "Kaffeekantate" BWV 211 is a humorous mini-opera about a young woman who is addicted to coffee. Bass-baritone Daniel Holzhauser embodies the father and his daughter is sung by soprano Nicole Tschaikin, while tenor Stephan Lin comments on the controversy surrounding coffee at the time.
The pianist, conductor and composer Ted Ganger performs on the Steinway grand piano and Stephan Lin also plays the flute.
