J. S. Bach's trio sonata

Late Night Concert
Original and modern – the six trio sonatas between organ, piano and jazz trio are on the programme at an advanced hour.

Concert
Erlöserkirche München-Schwabing

J. S. Bach's six trio sonatas, literally sonatas "for 2 manuals and pedal (2 Clav. e pedal)" are among the most perfect gems of organ music. The three voices are scored as independent individual instruments, which also places considerable technical demands on the organist. This "necklace" of sonatas, each in three movements, will be seasoned with modern elements by means of jazz-style arrangements of the pieces.
The cocktail bar is open during the breaks.

Organ – Tobias Frank
Saxophone – Uwe Steinmetz
