The cathedral "Zu Unserer Lieben Frau" in Munich is a metropolitan church assigned to the Archbishop of Munich and Freising as metropolitan of the southern Bavarian ecclesiastical province. Among the dioceses of Augsburg, Regensburg and Passau, it is the first cathedral in terms of rank. The Frauenkirche is also the parish church for the second oldest parish in Munich. The services of the Domkapellmeister, the Domorganist and the Domzeremoniar are set up to organise the cathedral liturgy.
